Frequently Asked Questions
How long can a cat last up a tree?
Healthy cats can hang on for days, but they decline fast without water — especially in DFW heat. Past the first several hours, weakness raises the risk of a fall, so don't let it ride too long.
Won't the cat just come down on its own?
Sometimes — and we'll tell you honestly on the phone if yours probably will. Cats that are injured, elderly, panicked, or up very high usually won't, and that's when a climber matters.
Why won't the fire department come?
